Welcome to your Educational Opportunity Center Homepage!
Located on the campus of Mid-South Community College in West
Memphis, Arkansas, the Educational Opportunity Center proudly
serves the residents of Crittenden, Cross, St. Francis, Lee,
Monroe, Woodruff, and Phillips Counties.
Our EOC Counselors provide counseling and assistance with
GED preparation, career exploration, college admissions, placement
testing, scholarships and financial aid, academic advising,
study skill and personal skill development that will help
you become successful not just in college, but in life!
We have a library that is filled with catalogs and information
from different colleges and universities throughout the United
States, so that we can help you find the school that best
suits your particular educational goals. Our goal is to help
you overcome barriers and make your dreams reality, whatever
those dreams may be!
To qualify for EOC, you must be resident of one of the seven
counties mentioned above, you must be at least 19 years of
age, and you must be interested in entering or re-entering
a program of post-secondary education. That's all there is
to it! All of our services are provided absolutely free.
